Alexandra “Alex” Murphy, LPC, PMH-C

I work with adults and adolescents 13+ who are dealing with the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. This includes individuals seeking support for stress, trauma, or emotional health as well as individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood. I am committed to creating a safe, grounded, and compassionate therapeutic space where your nervous system can settle, your story can be explored at your own pace, and healing can unfold without pressure or judgment.

My primary focus is trauma recovery. I provide a structured, trauma-informed approach in a safe and supportive space where clients can process difficult experiences, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience. I use evidence-based modalities including EMDR, CBT, and attachment-focused therapies.

As an EMDR-certified therapist, I offer a practical and collaborative process. It’s not about “fixing” you—it’s about understanding patterns, reducing distress, and helping you move forward with greater clarity and stability. If you’re considering therapy, I welcome you to reach out for a brief consultation.

I am in network with United Health Care, and we are happy to submit to insurance for you.
